Sue Schneider is
the CEO/President of Clarion Gaming America which operates out of
St. Louis, Mo. In July, '06, The former River City Group was purchased
by Clarion, one of the UK's largest event production companies.
Clarion Gaming America publishes a subscription-based electronic
magazine, Interactive Gaming News (www.igamingnews.com) as well
as syndicated research reports. It offers a wide range of industry-related
services such as market research, regional and international Summits,
and executive placement services.
She wrote a monthly column on interactive gambling for International
Gaming and Wagering Business (IGWB) magazine for several years and
now writes for Global Gaming Business magazine. She has been a contributing
writer for each edition of the Internet Gambling Report originally
published by Trace Publications and her company has now taken over
publication of that book.
Schneider served as Chairman of the Interactive Gaming Council
(IGC), a trade association, since its inception in l996 until 2004.
She is a frequent speaker at international gaming conferences and
has testified to both the US Senate, the US House of Representatives
as well as the National Gambling Impact Study Commission in that
country.
She is determined to stay on the information side of the gaming
industry after her previous experience in gaming which was a six
year stint running charitable bingo. |
